Ms. Ambika Rai

Ms. Ambika Rai is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at the Centre for Distance and Online Education, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology. She is currently pursuing a PhD at the Centre for Himalayan Studies (CHS), University of North Bengal (NBU). Ms. Rai completed her M.Phil. from CHS, NBU, in 2017, and her postgraduate degree in Sociology from the Department of Sociology, NBU, in 2015. She qualified for the UGC-NET in Sociology in 2017 and was awarded the Junior as well as Senior Research Fellowship by the University of North Bengal (State Fellowship).
