Ms. Mrinalini Subba

Ms. Mrinalini Subba is currently working as an assistant professor of sociology at Sikkim Manipal University. She is pursuing her PhD at the Centre for Studies in Social Sciences, Calcutta. She completed her M.A. in Sociology at Jadavpur University in 2017 and was awarded with UGC NET- JRF/SRF in Sociology. Her research areas include criminal justice, border studies, gender studies, and migration. She has 5+ years of experience in research, academic writing, and data analysis. She was also a recipient of the ICSSR International Travel Grant in the year 2023. She has published her work in peer-reviewed journals. She has presented her work at several national and international conferences organized by institutes like the University of Hyderabad, University of Cambridge, Virginia Tech, Roxa Luxemburg Stiftung, Dublin City University, Indian Sociological Society, German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), and so on.
